Purpose -
1) Experiment with Ben Franklin's observations.
2) Compare static effects between various materials. (Try to create a triboelectric series)
Triboelectric Series:
Procedure:
1. Hang Protractor from Ring Stand
2. Charge Protractor with hair, wool or fur (This will have a negative charge)
3. Use your Data table to decide how do charge the rods.
4. Bring rod close to the protractor and see how it responds.
